Blessed Health TCM is insurance compatible with all insurance as long as you are under coverage for TCM. It will be great if you clarify with your insurance provider on the exact terms and conditions such as any cap or restrictions on your TCM coverage. Our policy for insurance claims is that all patients have to go through consultation and an issued diagnosis/memo is required. Do note to declare your requirements prior to the treatment as we can’t backdate the diagnosis.
You will need to schedule a Special Consultation ($50) with our physician in most cases when you want to treat your injuries and file an insurance claim. This will provide you with an Issued Diagnosis that you can use to file an insurance claim. If a re-consultation is required, it will cost $20.
If your insurance policy covers TCM treatments, and you are diagnosed and treated by our registered TCM physicians, we can provide official receipts and a signed, stamped memo for your insurance claim. You only need to submit these documents to your insurance provider. Please check with your insurance agent for specific coverage details.
All insurance claims must follow a consultation with our TCM physician, with a memo issued and signed by the physician along with the receipt. Tuina alone, without a physician’s consultation and memo, is not claimable under insurance.
If you require a memo for insurance claims, please inform the TCM physician before your treatment so that the memo and receipt can be prepared accordingly. If not notified in advance, we are unable to issue a memo retrospectively.
Our clinic can issue an MC; however, whether it is accepted depends on your company’s policy regarding medical certificates issued by TCM clinics.
